Will You Grant All My Wishes?

When Su Yang woke up again, it was dawn the next morning.

The first thing he saw upon waking up was Gu Feidi’s sleeping face in the line of his vision.

The handsome face was calm. Judging by the long, slow breathing, Gu Feidi was deeply asleep. One hand was under the quilt gripping tightly onto Su Yang’s hand, and the other hand was wrapped around Su Yang’s waist, as if those two hands never let go the entire night.

Su Yang didn’t want to wake Gu Feidi, so he lay quietly and tried not to make a single move. He studied the sleeping face and recalled the dream he just had.

There were scattered fragments in the dream, unfamiliar and illogical. At times, it was the underground cave in the wasteland or the Evil Sect’s Forbidden Ground. No matter the location, the contents were all fragments of his time with Gu Feidi.

But the Young Master in his dream was completely different from himself. The man in his dream deserved the Young Master’s arrogant and overbearing reputations. He was either fighting with Gu Feidi, or forcing himself on the younger man by touching, holding…and kissing.

Thinking of these dream fragments made Su Yang’s whole being a little chaotic.

He thought, ‘Could this kind of interaction be what he wanted to do toward Gu Feidi at the bottom of his heart? Where did this dark and domineering side of him come from? Was it from the fight he lost against Gu Feidi in the underground cave? Maybe the resentment from that lingered in his subconscious, never vanishing and slowly growing?’

Sleeping Gu Feidi looked younger, more like a child. Su Yang’s eyes traced from the eyebrows and eyes to the tip of the nose then the lips.

Suddenly remembering that scene in his dream, Su Yang slowly moved his head forward and leaned toward the other man. He gently and cautiously pecked Gu Feidi on the lips.

Gu Feidi didn’t wake up.

Su Yang licked his lower lip, waited for any change, before going for another kiss. Seeing Gu Feidi sleeping heavily, a mischievous smile appeared on his face, as if he got away with a small crime. Feeling bolder, he carefully extended out his tongue and used the tip to touch Gu Feidi’s lip gently.

After he had his fun, he saw no reaction from the sleeping man. He turned quietly, planning to get up from the bed…but he was pulled back by a force around his waist.

Gu Feidi closed his arms tightly around Su Yang’s waist as he slowly opened his eyes. His voice was still slightly husky from sleep. “Trying to escape after kissing me?”

“You…” Su Yang pushed against Gu Feidi’s chest. “...You pretended to be asleep?!”

“Yes, at first I was having a restful sleep, but I woke from a kitten’s lick.” Gu Feidi smiled. “You sure are up early today. Did you have a nightmare again?”

Su Yang shook his head and said with a smile, “No nightmares, but my dream was very messy.”

Gu Feidi didn’t follow up. He just held Su Yang in his arms and gazed at him silently.

“Er, I’m...” Su Yang hesitated for a moment, “a bit hungry. Do you think there is food available at this time…?”

Gu Feidi looked confused, as if he spoke in a foreign language. But the arms around his wrist remained, with slightly more force behind them.

Feeling the increasingly hot temperature coming from the skin-to-middle robe contact, Su Yang felt a little flustered, but secretly… it was less than his next expectation. 

However, after they lost track of time in each others’ eyes, Gu Feidi suddenly sighed long and loud, loosened his arms around Su Yang and rolled out of the bed.

“I’ll go ask. They should have ready-to-eat snacks.” He calmly put on his robe, but before he went out the door, he said, “Stay resting indoors. Remember to keep yourself warm.”

Seeing Gu Feidi disappear behind the door, Su Yang buried himself back into the quilt and self-loathingly clicked his tongue.

At first, he didn’t want to be too rushed into a home runIn the raw, it called it ‘that thing’. Since he is being ambiguous, I decided to use home runs. First base is kisses, second base is more direct contact, third base is bedroom activity that's not sexual intercourse, and home run is doing the deed., but every time the idea was formed in his heart, it was cut-short or nipped in the bud repeatedly by Gu Feidi’s self-control. Now, he became more and more obsessed with…completing the deed.

He felt as if this obsession was the reason behind his messy dreams. Dreams in which he himself would use any means for a chance to kiss Gu Feidi.

The topic of his frustration quickly returned, but besides the lunch box, he also had a pot of herbal soup. 

“There’s already somebody boiling the medicine this early?” Su Yang asked while frowning. “Is there someone in the herbal workshop working twenty-four hours…twelve time periods non-stop?”

Gu Feidi filtered the medicine in the pot into a bowl and smiled. “The medicine is boiled in the morning and kept warm in the heated pot. So you can drink it whenever you’re up. Today is the first time you will drink the medicine at its freshest.”

Su Yang rolled his eyes at that.

He accepted the bowl and drank everything. Then he requested a kiss from Gu Feidi like he always did. After that, he freed himself from his warm cocoon and got up to dress.

After washing up, he ate breakfast with Gu Feidi. Luo Yu happened to stop by to check Su Yang’s pulse. After revising the prescription again based on the result, Luo Yu told him the things to watch out for repeatedly, before leaving the courtyard, as usual, leaving the rest of the time and space for the two lovebirds.

They drew, wrote, sang, and played chess, being lovey-doveyTeo: 膩歪 So based on my research, there are actually two extremely contradicting meaning to this word. Describing a couple ‘being sick of it/ loath/ boring’ from spending so much time with each other, or a couple being intimate. I highly doubt they could be sick of each other @.@

Sahl: In Western culture this term usually means two people putting on an excessive display of public affection or generally letting others know they are in love. as noon arrived.

After lunch, Su Yang was doodling with a brush, and suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of drowsiness. The next moment, he fell into a deep slumber without warning. He bumped his head against the table, creating a loud bang as his body became boneless.

This startled Gu Feidi as he stretched out and took the man in his arms, using his internal energy to examine the sleeping man’s meridian while calling anxiously for what felt like a hundred times. 

After making sure that Su Yang was just sleeping, Gu Feidi didn’t know how he was supposed to feel. He embraced the man tightly, burying his face into the crook of Su Yang’s neck, and took a few deep, calming breaths. Once his trembling hands were stable, he carried Su Yang to the bed to rest.

In the days that followed, Su Yang slept more often and longer.

During that time he occasionally woke up, he would drink medicine and eat something. After being awake for only one or two hours he was swept away by drowsiness and went back into a deep sleep.

Besides the sleepiness, his body began to show signs of weakening. Although he no longer suffered from cold sickness due to the medication, his strength seemed to be gradually chipped away. He was lethargic and didn’t want to move much every day. 

At the same time, he also began to dream more frequently.

They were all related to his time after transmigration, but different from what he had experienced. 

For example, when he dreamed of the time he was practising the Half-Withered Crimson in the Forbidden Ground, he would hold on to Gu Feidi whenever the chill got to him. He even took advantage and touched the other rudely…

For example, he dreamed of tying Gu Feidi by force and bringing him back to the Evil Sect. Then cuffed him in chains and forced him to change into the Chrysanthemum Hall’s uniform as he was being paraded ostentatiously around by his dream self’s side...

In another instance, Su Yang dreamed of the time at the wasteland during the scuffle, after meeting Gu Feidi by accident and harassing the younger man, he would scout for the Tengyun Pavilion’s camp at night and force a kiss on Gu Feidi...

All the dreams seemed to attempt to erase everything he had done before completely differently. Su Yang gradually realized that ‘his own’ behaviour and action were more aligned with the original Young Master.

He felt more and more that these dreams’ origins were not from the world where he and Gu Feidi were attached, but from the original Young Master’s obsession that remained deep in his consciousness.

Maybe, he was really close to the end.

Su Yang reflected over this silently. 

Unbeknownst to him was how long he slept, but today, Su Yang woke up to a dark night.

In the fragmented dream just now, he seemed to be in the Bewildering Stone Forest Array outside the House of Jade…The anxiety from his inability to locate the exit gradually gave birth to hostility, which filled his heart with tyrannical emotions. Finally, like the script he got from the director, not only did he fail the final assessment set by the House of Jade, but he also suffered a heavy injury from brute-forcing his way through the array. 

He frowned unwittingly.

If these dreams were really the real Young Master’s obsession, then why did he dream of himself failing the final assessment?

How could the dream here be consistent with the plot from the script?

Before he could figure it out, Gu Feidi’s arm, which was resting on his waist, drew back. Then, a low cry echoed in his ear, “Shixiong.”

Su Yang made a sound of acknowledgement.

“You awake?” Gu Feidi’s voice was slightly hoarse. The pitch of his voice was slightly lower from sleep. “Are you hungry? I saved snacks for you. They are being kept warm in the heated pot…”

Su Yang sighed, “These few days, if I’m not eating, then I’m sleeping. Why do I feel like you’re raising me like a pig?”

Gu Feidi didn’t follow up.

After a long silence, he confessed, “If only you could gain more weight. Because I can tell you are getting thinner and thinner…”

After finishing the midnight snacks, Su Yang no longer felt sleepy. Gu Feidi lit the candlelights in the room, sat down beside the other man and asked what he wanted to do.

Su Yang looked out through the window and saw large snowflakes falling in the night. Suddenly, he felt a little disappointed.

“Right now, I can’t do what I really want to do.” He smiled. “When I was a child, my favourite thing was to get up to see snow outside the window during winter. I would always be amazed by the scene, before I rushed downstairs to be the first person to step on the undistributed snow…I also liked to have snowball fights with my friends and build snowmen together…”

Then he lowered his gaze to stare at his fingertips, and flattened his lips. “But now I’m at a snow mountain where there is fresh snow void of footsteps all around. Snow that I can’t play with. It’s kind of disappointing.”

Gu Feidi gazed at Su Yang under the flickering candle fire and didn’t look away for a long time.

Su Yang smiled brightly. “Instead we can continue our journey to change all the lyrics! I still have two songs ready for you.”

Gu Feidi struggled to smile. “Sure.”

When they moved the little table for a daybed onto the bed, they sat opposite of each other, changed a few lyrics, and sang a few songs in a low whisper until the sky was suffused with white. As expected, an irresistible fatigue hit Su Yang and he fell asleep.

Once the eleventh lunar month arrived, Elegant Jade Peak started to get colder and colder.

The heavy snow lasted for several consecutive days, forcing the evergreen trees around the hot spring to wilt, and two more heated pots had to be added to Su Yang’s room.

That day, Su Yang woke up in the evening and glanced at the window frame dyed orange by the afterglow of the setting sun. The residue from his dream lingered in his mind.

It was his first time meeting with Gu Feidi in Mount Mei Zhu’s forest. The same fat and thin fighters forced Gu Feidi into a desperate situation. He also sat on a tree branch and spectated until Gu Feidi fell unconscious caused by Oblivion triggered by his heavy injuries. 

However, the Young Master in his dream didn’t try to save the other.

He jumped down from the tree and studied Gu Feidi’s sleeping face with great interest. A smirk appeared on his face as he extended his hand to grab the younger man’s jaw for a kiss...

“You’re awake?”

Gu Feidi, who was beside him, immediately noticed that he had woken. He felt the warm arms around him before a light peck was placed on his lips, as he watched the other get up to get his medicine and meal.

But Su Yang didn’t feel hungry. After drinking the medicine, he lay back on the bed, feeling exhausted. 

Gu Feidi took the empty bowl and gave him a deep kiss that was like their ritual to drive away the remaining bitterness in his mouth.

The kiss somehow coincided with the kisses from his dream. Su Yang could sense his increasingly powerless body. Panic immediately filled his chest as he thought of his growing slumber time.

He felt that if he didn’t seize this last chance, he might…really only leave behind regret.

As Gu Feidi was about to get up, a hand suddenly held the back of his neck. There wasn’t much force behind it to pull him back to his previous position. 

Su Yang closed his eyes, dragged Gu Feidi to him and exchanged another long kiss. 

He let go after a long time and stared at Gu Feidi, who was retreating slightly, and whispered, “Shidi…”

Gu Feidi gazed back at him.

Su Yang was laying on the pillow. He gave a sweet and tender smile to the younger man. “Shidi, will you grant all my wishes?”
